Ethan Anderson Office of Admissions Massachusetts Institute of technology
I would like to visit MIT and have a tour around the campus. I am currently a high-school student in the Philippines and I would want to go to study there someday. I am planning to go there next week, May 21. If this is not a good date to visit, please inform me immediately. I have a few questions regarding my visit and tour. How long is the tour around the whole campus? What should I do in order for me to enter the campus? If the tour takes more than one day, can I stay in your school’s dorm? Am I allowed to have breakfast or lunch in the cafeteria?
I look forward to your reply. I hope to see you and your facilities in the near future.
Whole life spent training
Sacrificing time and love
To live in greatness
A wonderful love
Bloomed in sadness and grief
What a nice rebound
A beautiful world
Slowly fading by our hands
What have we done wrong?

Dear Mom and Dad,
How are you? I have so much that I want to tell you, but I’ll just have to wait when I see you in person. I just want to write something to the both of you and I hope my words reach your hearts. I just want to say thank you for all that you have done in my life. There were many times in my life where I was in the dark, but you would cheer me up and give light to my life. There were also many times when I failed as a son, and I am truly sorry for that. To end this letter, I want you to know that no matter what dark and misleading things that happen in my life, I will hold on and protect what is dear to me, and that is my family.
Your Crazy Bunso,
So, I’ll be writing about how to answer calls on the telephone in a good manner. When the telephone is ringing, you must wait for the phone to ring twice before picking it up. It is always good to start the call with a simple hello. If you don’t know your caller is, it is not rude to ask “who am I speaking with?” If you’re the one making the call then it is only right to introduce yourself. You should ask why he/she is calling. If you don’t know who the caller is asking for, do not hang up without saying “sorry, wrong number”. If your caller is asking for someone other than you and that someone is not home, you should politely tell the caller to call again. Be sure to to tell the appropriate time to call again. Once you and the caller come to an understanding, you must politely excuse yourself or the caller will excuse himself/herself. Do not hang up first, it is polite to wait for the caller to hang up first before you.
